Rick Prentice

After graduating from the University of Manitoba in 1972 Rick joined Trident Construction as a junior Engineer. He then spent 2 years with CUSO working in Malaysia on drainage projects that led to his continued involvement working in disadvantaged areas. On returning to Canada he joined Reid Crowther & Partners progressing from Project Engineer to Senior Vice President. During that time he worked on Infrastructure Projects across Alberta and the Northwest Territories. He also spent 2 years leading the design and installation of Sewerage and Drainage systems in Lamaca Cyprus.

In 2001 Rick joined Stantec Consulting Ltd. becoming Vice President International where he managed the Shanghai Waste water Project.

Rick is a member of APEGA and has been a Board member of the North American Society for Trenchless Technologies. Rick is a member of APEGA and has been a Board member of the North American Society for Trenchless Technologies.

Rick has served as the President of the Consulting Engineers of Alberta, and a Vice President of the Consulting Engineers of Canada. He is active in the local community leagues, a Rotarian, and is an alternative Warden for Camp six of the Corporation of Seven Wardens.
