Engineering history is important. It can tell us what has (or has not) worked before and might (or might not) work today. Engineering history helps us to understand why codes and standards were developed. As a member society of The Engineering Institute of Canada, The CSSE promotes the understanding of how engineers and engineering have played a role in the development of Canada.
To help promote the latter, The CSSE solicits, for inclusion on the CSSE web-site, short summaries of past engineering achievements, written by our members.
Members are asked to submit such short summaries to The CSSE History and Archives Committee c/o info@seniorengineers.ca
