50 YEARS OF NUCLEAR – ELECTRIC POWER IN CANADA: TWO INCOMPARABLE FRIENDS AND THE MCMASTER CONNECTION

Abstract
The Atomic Energy Control Act of Canada was proclaimed on October 12, 1946.  The first two Presidents were General Dr. A.G.L. McNaughton and Dr. C.J. Mackenzie, both Engineers. The author takes you through the early days of the AECB and the creation of AECL and the careers of these two truly outstanding Canadians. He concludes his remarks with information on Radiation Hormesis.
