Bryan Norrie, PEng
Bryan Norrie has been an Engineer for over 50 years and from almost the time of his graduation from North Dakota State University has been involved with diesel engines. From his start as a Sales Engineer working through the positions of Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales and eventual owner of Midwest Diesels he grew the company from a regional supplier of General Motors Diesels to the Canadain supplier of Electromotive Diesels for all applications except railways. Midwest supplied custom built generating sets to utilities, mines and refineries.
Along the way Bryan found time to serve on the Council of Engineers, Geoscientists of Manitoba, be a member of the Manitoba branch of the Society of Automotive Engineers, and serve as President of the Manitoba Antique and Classic Car Club. He is a Professional Engineer in Manitoba and a member of the Canadian Society of Senior Engineers.
