The 2017 Canadian Society of Senior Engineers Awards dinner was held May 13 in Regina. The event was held at the Hotel Saskatchewan. In addition to conferring CSSE Fellowships on 13 individuals the dinner attendees heard a presentation from Edward Willett the author of A Safe and Prosperous Future-100 years of engineering and geoscience achievements in Saskatchewan.
The Board meeting was held during the day and included a presentation on the 50th Anniversary of the Gardiner Dam Project and the presentation of a plaque from the CSSE to commemorating the achievement.
In addition to this a welcoming reception was held on the Friday night at the Saskatchewan Science Centre and a partners program on Saturday included visits to the CJ McKenzie Art Gallery and the RCMP Heritage Center with a luncheon at the Royal Regina Golf Club.
The events were organized by Shawna Argue FCSSE, FEC, FGC(hon). With assistance from Bland Brown, Dan Hogan, Margaret Kuzyk, Malcomb Reeves, John Gilles, Rick Kullman and Art Opseth.
